Tara Wall is a columnist and deputy editorial page editor for The Washington Times. She is also a CNN political contributor. Tara is a former newscaster, Republican National Committee senior advisor and George W. Bush appointee.
Wall served as Communications Director and Spokesperson at the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Gulf Coast Rebuilding at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to that, Wall was appointed by President George W. Bush as Director of the Office of Public Affairs (OPA) at the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in February of 2007.
Prior to her appointment at HHS, Wall was Senior Advisor and Director of Outreach Communications for the Republican National Committee (RNC) after working as a journalist in Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University.
