You’ll notice that Donald Trump is not even as far ahead as Giuliani was, and anyone remember Thompson? EXACTLY!
Here’s the Real Clear Politics polling average of the GOP primary at the end of July in 2007:

Paul/Thompson/Brownback 2%
Huckabee/Hunter/Tancredo 1%

It may be that Donald Trump crashes and burns more spectacularly that Giuliani.
