Amber Roof, sister of Dylann Roof, accused racist killer of nine church goers in South Carolina, is asking for donations to help defray costs of her wedding.
They canceled the wedding after her brother was accused of the shooting at Emanuel AME church just three days earlier.
Canceling the ceremony cost them thousands of dollars and brought sorrow, pain and shame to her wedding day, she said on the go fund me page.
Amber is promising to donate 10% of any funds collected to Emmanuel AME Church.

Honestly, I am not sure how I feel about this. There is something a bit unsettling about her request. The faint odor of petulance, a stench of bad timing, and a sourness of “what about me?” wafts through this request. Still, Amber Roof did nothing. She didn’t shoot up a church; She didn’t murder nine worshipers, and she didn’t write a racist manifesto. All this woman did was to plan a small wedding with her Marine fiance. Her brother’s actions sidelined her wedding and now she is saddled with debt.
Hell, if I had an extra five thousand dollars laying around, I might write her a check.
Apparently, the sense of most was that this was in rather poor taste. After raising about 1600. The campaign was closed.
