The Americano is the introcuction to the Italian bitter apertif, Campari. Some say Campari is an acquired taste, but all agree that once you taste the Americano, you will love it! The Americano also has the distinction of being the first drink James Bond orders in the series of books featuring the British secret agent.
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- Club Soda
- Slice of orange for garnish
Fill a rocks glass or Collins glass with ice.
Pour Campari and Vermouth over ice. Add a splash of soda water and garnish with the orange slice.
