COP THREATENS TO MURDER TEENAGE GIRL

Other sources report that the scene in the video began when neighbors called the police because too many Black teens showed up to a pool party – a part to which they were presumably invited.

I have no idea what happened, whether that report is correct.  What I do know and what is plain as day is that a police officers pulls his weapon and threatens to shoot a teenage girl, who is standing in her bikini.  The girl is clearly unarmed and other than a big mouth, presents zero harm to the officer. Still he pulls his gun. At that moment the police officer crossed over from enforcing the law to being nothing but an armed THUG!  (To my eyes, he had crossed the line long before that.)

I have grown so tired of seeing videos of police officers misbehaving.  Clearly, not every officer is as morally challenged as the officer in this video.  (Two officers intervene before he further escalates the situation by firing his weapon.) It is also clear that social media is focused on bad behavior as opposed to good behavior.  Nevertheless, it seems clear to me that there is a problem.  We are seeing video NOW, what was going on prior to the advent of phone cameras and Facebook?

This officer needs to be disciplined!  If indeed the call was simply about teens being loud, he should be FIRED!

The Mckinney Texas Police department has placed this officer on administrative leave.  Would this officer have been place on leave had the video not surfaced? Would his fellow officers – the ones intervening before he can shoot his pistol – have reported his behavior to their superiors?

In order to be a hero, one has to do more than just put on a uniform.

I will be on the phone to the Mckinney Texas police department tomorrow.  I am asking you to join me in calling for the censure and dismissal of this thug in a police uniform.
