How would you react if I told you that there are people who own property, but must seek permission from a third party before they can leave that property – that they can’t even drive on the street without permission?  If I told you that merely walking in a public park or drinking from a public water fountain could result in a fine of $5000 and/or being removed from your property?  What if I told you that these types of abuse of liberty were happening TODAY and right here in the U.S. of A.?

Well, we don’t have to speculate on a hypothetical.  Take a look at this blog post from my friends at Original Pechanga and read all about American Apartheid.

On the Pechanga reservation, located in Temecula California, there are residents of the Pechanga reservation who are not Pechanga tribal members, which doesn’t mean that they are not Pechanga people or descended from Pechanga.  You see, in the corrupt world of tribal dis-enrollment, there is a difference between being a member of a tribe and being a tribal member.  If you are a member of the tribe, but not a tribal member, you don’t have rights.  You don’t have the right to drive down the street, to go to the local hospital, to send your children to the neighborhood school, to walk through the park, or even to drink from a drinking fountain.  Thought we got rid of that kind of thing around 1969 or so?  Think again.

Apartheid is a disgrace!  American apartheid is a crime and a disgrace.  American apartheid that goes unnoticed and unchallenged is a damn shame.
